What enforcement action is available to ACMA under the NRF?
The NRF has been introduced as a carrier licence condition on Telstra. The NRF also requires ACMA to monitor and enforce compliance by Telstra with the NRF. As with any other breach of a licence condition, penalties of up to $10 million can be imposed by the courts if Telstra does not meet its obligations under the NRF.
