What encryption does Cobar use?
Cobar uses AES-128 bit encryption. By encrypting the data using a ‘key’ or passphrase known only to you, you have full control over the protection of the data – you don’t need to trust anyone else. By default Cobar is set to compress your data before encrypting and transmitting it. This allows you to store more files in the space available. You can choose to disable or later re-enable this compression in Cobar’s setting.
