A. I think there are many opportunities for PAs. Right now, one of our biggest needs is in the clinical area; Indian Health; Bureau of Prisons, and Immigration Health, they all have significant numbers of vacancies for providers and PAs can be considered for many of these positions. The clinical needs are very high right now and a PA could be either employed as a commissioned officer or a civilian. Some of the administrative agencies that do policy work also value PAs and I think HRSA in particular, has had workforce growth in the Community Health Centers. To those PAs looking to do volunteer service, I would really encourage them to look to their neighborhood Community Health Centers for employment opportunities. Q. So that is how can PAs find out about a job? A. PAs can go to www.USAJobs.gov and that is the site that lists all of the federal positions. PAs can also search employment opportunities through their Community Health Center network, whatever state [they live in.] For exampl
