What email programs are available at RU-Camden?
Webmail is one of the most popular supported mail programs. Access to webmail is available at http://webmail.camden.rutgers.edu Thunderbird is also available in the public labs and supported for home use. Information about using/setting up Thunderbird is here Pine, is a screen oriented email program, that is accessed by making a ssh (secure shell) connection to either clam or crab. There is also a program called mail that is often used in scripts on the unix systems. Although webmail, Thunderbird, and Pine are the officially supported email programs, most email program can be configured to work with our email servers. Contact your UCS to see if your department is eligible to use the Exchange server and Outlook.
