What else will the Medicine Hat SPCA be doing for animals?
Each year, the Medicine Hat SPCA takes in many animals that are NOT strays. These animals are admitted by their owners to the Animal Shelter for many reasons. Frequently, heartbroken customers state that animal training and behavior concerns are the main reason for them relinquishing their pet. Until now, the Medicine Hat SPCA has offered very little assistance to people to help them keep animals that are becoming a problem.
