What else is there to do in Hakuba apart from Snow Sports?
There are a number of other activities in Hakuba. You can participate in a Soba noodle making class, attend a health spa, take a day trip to see the world famous snow monkeys, visit Zenkoji Temple in Nagano, or Matsumoto Castle. You can also travel up to the Japan sea coast to sample fresh seafood (especially crabs). If you have a little more time, you ca do an overnight trip to the Shirakawago Gassho Zukuri Village (a world heritage site).
