What else did the Pinnacles Beach Backpackers in Cervantes offer?
For those who do arrive and don’t have their own wheels the hostel can offer a guided tour of the Pinnacles for $40Aus. The full name of this place is actually Cervantes Lodge and Pinnacles Beach Backpackers, and the lodge part caters for the traveller with a few more dollars to spend. This building is where you’ll find reception, which sells a few food and drink odds and ends. They also have a cafe selling coffee and cake. I think in peak season it runs it as a restaurant too, but that part was closed when I was there. In the adjacent building where the backpacker accommodation is, there’s a very good kitchen, offering free tea, but strangely not coffee, and there’s a very cosy and comfortable TV room running off it. There’s also a fairly decent book swap in here. The hostel does have internet, but it’s only one computer, very expensive and wasn’t even working when I was there.
