What else can steel screw piles be used for?
A. Steel piling has other applications such as stabilising swimming pools, shade structures (like in car parks) and pylons (electricity or mobile phones towers etc.). It can also be used in stabilising landslips, and road building to stabilise the side of the road and for retaining wall structures. They can also be used under large concrete swimming pools in wet soil areas where the pool may float after emptying. It can be used for bridging where piles are inserted on either side of a sewerage pipe and a connection between them made so that when a structure is built above, the sewer has no weight placed onto it and will therefore not collapse.
