ColdFusion MX includes ColdFusion Components (CFCs). CFCs allow developers to write encapsulated, reusable code on which they can perform activities (invoke methods). This is similar to the way developers work with content objects in Macromedia Spectra. Unlike content objects, however, CFCs do not manage their own storage.
