What electric guitar pickup is a better alternative / punk rock: Epiphone Alnico Classic or V?
Which of these 2 only is better for alt. rock? SD or Gibson I know better, I’m just asking for these 2. Actually, I do not think it really matters much. There are different styles of Alnico Magnet Humbucker. I would say that the cutlery will last longer and may not accumulate a lot of dust and pieces of things in the coils. My Doubleneck SG has a set of cover and a set of exposed Alnico pills. The two gain levels are fine. Both styles are high gain humbuckers, so do not think it will make a big difference. I guess they are now trying to choose between Goth and Vintage G 400. I have given my opinion on which one is better. The most important thing is to worry about it which amp to use. The two guitars sound very similar. Now have to worry about what kind of amplifier will give you the rest of the sound you are looking for.
