What electric guitar kit should I get my 8 year old son?
He will love it, my daughter is ADD, and she is ten I got her a guitar 2ys ago for Xmas, it was the best gift ever. They love it at first and do eventually lose focus, but its still a good idea to give him something he can be constructive and creative with. A beginners acoustic guitar is only about $30 but I bought the Beginners First Act Electric Guitar and Amp at toys R Us for $80 and they do go on sale. It was a good buy, the amp separately can be around $50 and it comes with a really simple “how to” book. Guitar Picks are around $5-$8 at toys r us for a pack of 3 or 4, and at a music store they are normally around 25cents each, just shop around for price. He will love it!!
