Students are free to take electives within the MPIA program, or any other programs as long as they relate to your program of study (see the MPIA curriculum). Courses are also available in Science and Technology Studies, Public Administration, Economics, Natural Resources, and other programs based at the Northern Virginia Center. Check the university course website for the most current elective offerings. Online courses, independent studies, and field studies are also available when the range of courses do not quite match your needs.
