What efforts is DESE making to provide more information on getting access to First Steps (i.e., billboards, newspaper ads)?
The Public Awareness Workgroup identified three target groups for marketing First Steps: the medical community, families, and community partners (child care, Early Head Start, etc.). A variety of materials are available for each of these audiences. This includes public service announcements for newspapers and radio, posters and other signage, brochures, flyers, and other types of public awareness materials.
