What effects does smoking weed whilst?
Where it is legal to have medical cannabis prescribed, doctors will prescribe it to patients with depression if they so choose. I’m not sure what the effects are when both are taken at the same time, but if it’s not recommended, then I wouldn’t recommend doing it. The marijuana mixed with the anti depressants may make the prescribed pills void. Some doctors think that mixing the two can cause the depression to worsen, cause paranoia or heighten paranoia if it already exists, and/or cause disturbances in sleep pattern (I don’t agree with this as weed helps with my insomnia). It truly depends on the person, but it’s best to read the side effects on the bottle and if smoking weed while taking the anti depressants enhances any of the side effects, then it’s probably best not to take both at the same time. Mixing the two won’t kill you or anything of that sort, so you could probably “experiment” if you so wish, just be sure to gauge the reactions and stop if needed.
