What effect will the Training Period filing dates have on assessors working toward certification?
Basic certification will continue to be reimbursed as vouchers are received and will not be held until the end of the Training Period. You must file for reimbursement no later than 30 days following the completion of the course. ORPS expects that the current appropriation will be sufficient to continue fully reimbursing basic training vouchers. For example, if you successfully complete a course toward basic certification and submit vouchers for payment within 30 days of the course completion date, you can expect to be reimbursed the full approved amount within 4 to 6 weeks.
