Employees who wish to make TSP transactions must use the TSP website at http://www.tsp.gov/hurr-kat.html, or call (toll free) 877-968-3778. Due to Hurricane Katrina, paper TSP forms cannot currently be processed at the National Finance Center in New Orleans. TSP loan and withdrawal payments (including scheduled monthly payments) are being disbursed daily. It will take approximately one or two days more than usual between the date of a payment’s disbursement and the issuance of the check or Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). EFT payments will generally be received within a week; payments received by mail will take longer. Please check the TSP website ( http://www.tsp.gov/hurr-kat.html) for further updates.
