What educational requirements are there to become a physicians assistant?
A licensed physician’s assistant must graduate from an accredited program, and then take a national board certification examination. Most programs require a Masters degree in science, but there are some Bachelors degrees in science and even a few certificate programs for qualified individuals. Q: What makes your job rewarding? A: Whenever a patient responds to my treatment plan, whether it is surgical or conservative care, I find it extremely gratifying. Q: What would you tell someone who wants to become a physician’s assistant? A: This job is demanding, but it also is rewarding. The schooling requires extraordinary amounts of time, which can put a strain on your family and personal life, but in the end, it’s worth it.
