What educational opportunities and learning experiences exist for OSU nutrition science students?
OSU Human Nutrition faculty members are dedicated to sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge in the nutrition sciences with students in the classroom, research settings, and in the community. Several of the advanced undergraduate courses have a service learning component where students have the opportunity to translate concepts learned in the classroom to practices in the community. We also encourage undergraduate students to join a research team in the department or with one of our colleagues on campus to experience the creativity and joys of discovery. In doing so, undergraduate students have the opportunity to interact regularly with faculty, dedicated and enthusiastic graduate students pursuing master and doctoral degrees, and a very talented research staff.
