All residents receive $900 to use in their second and third years. These funds may be used for book purchase or CME conferences. Residents may use five curricular days to attend medical conferences. The residency also pays for CME training modules including ACLS, ALSO, and NALS. Additionally, the residency covers the cost of USMLE Step 3. Residents, however, are responsible for the cost of State Licensing Boards, which are taken on completion of residency training.
