What economic rights are conveyed by Copyright?
Copyright entitles an author the exclusive right to exploit his work in the manner he pleases and to benefit from it. This protection embodies all powers and faculties necesary to modify, reproduce, distribute, pursue and in general use the creation, as well as to require financial compensation for it to become public. These rights are independent from moral rights and amongst each other, and can therefore be transferred freely.
