What ECHO benefits are covered under the new $36,000 yearly benefit?
The authorized ECHO benefits eligible for the increased limit include; training, rehabilitation, special education, services under the Autism Demonstration project, assistive technology devices, intuitional care and transportation. All other ECHO benefits remain under the government’s $2,500 monthly benefit limit per beneficiary. The total benefit combined cannot exceed $36,000 per fiscal year. The Enhanced ECHO benefit does not apply to the ECHO Home Health Care (EHHC) program.
