What Eats A Rabbit?

0

Rabbits have many predators. Almost all the carnivores like tigers, lions, hyenas, wolves etc feed on the rabbit. However the rabbit is swift enough to run on its heels and escape its predator at the slightest suspicion. It just slips in the closest burrow with powerful kick from its hind legs. Rabbits live in a society or a group with the dominant female rabbit (foe) fighting with others for the best place in the burrow, where the young ones can be at their safest best from the predators. When a rabbit senses a threat from a predator, it gives a warning cry by banging the ground with both the hind feet before sprinting away. As it makes its escape, it lifts its white tail like a flag in an effort to discourage the predator and warn others.
