What e-commerce sites have the best customer service? What tools are they using to serve users well?
Newegg.com and Amazon.com have excellent customer service. The question of superior customer service is highly subjective, but I’ll share my experiences with newegg.com and amazon.com. Both sites have delivered great customer service for me. Newegg.com sells electronics and computer equipment. I’ve ordered from them many times in the past, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. Once I received a lemon product on a hard drive. It did not work out of the box, and newegg took it back without any problems. I received a full refund and they also returned the shipping charges. The email response was extremely prompt — probably less than one day to get back to me. On another occasion, I purchased a cable modem. Unfortunately, it was not compatible with my ISP, Comcast. This time, I called them up to ask about refund policies. They told me to send the item back. Like the previous return, I was refunded both the item’s cost and shipping charges.
