BookSite works with the two leading e-book channel masters, Lightning Source and Overdrive and we recommend that publishers work directly with them for e-books intended for the mass market. BookSite offers retailers full access to Overdrive’s “Content Reserve” database and Lightning Source’s e-book database (20,000 titles) in addition to Lightning Source’s Print-On-Demand database and 2 million other traditional book titles. BookSite also offers a custom e-book publishing service that allows exclusive content to placed in e-book form and then be merged with the base BookSite offerings and sold only from that single BookSite location (and their affiliates). Content for custom e-book publishing must already be converted to a PDF e-book format.
