The New York Prescription Saver card covers all prescription drugs that are covered by the Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) program. Non-covered drugs include Drug Efficacy Study Implementation (DESI) drugs, and erectile dysfunction medications. Diabetic supplies such as insulin, insulin syringes and insulin needles are included, but a prescription is required. Test strips and glucose monitors are not covered.
