What driver do I need to install with my AudioScience sound card?
If running a particular radio automation (or other) application, check with the applications manufacturer. They will typically test and approve for use AudioScience drivers. The latest driver on our website may not be the latest driver approved for use by an applications manufacturer. Otherwise, pick WDM for applications whose websites talk about DirectSound or if they make no mention of what driver type to use. (You may still need to install the WAVE driver if the WDM does not work with the application.) Pick WAVE when an application specifically requires it. Pick Combo when you have two applications on the same machine; one that requires the WAVE driver and another that requires the WDM driver. If you need the ASIO driver, pick any AudioScience driver – the ASIO interface is built into current drivers – then use the application’s set-up to choose the ASIO devices (and not WAVE or WDM).
