In the latest move that could hurt the golfer financially, Gatorade has said that it is discontinuing Tiger Woods drink from its range of products. Gatorade, however, claimed that decision to drop the drink had been taken much before the Tiger Woods sex scandal broke out in the media. Gatorade’s Tiger Woods drink has been seeing declining sales and the decision to withdraw it was taken months ago, said the brand, which is part of Pepsi group. “We decided several months ago to discontinue Gatorade Tiger Focus along with some other products to make room for our planned series of innovative products in 2010,” said Gatorade spokeswoman Jen Schmit in a statement. Meanwhile, in another development, Tiger Woods mother-in-law Barbo Holmberg was rushed to a Florida hospital for stomach pains. Holmberg, who is a Swedish politician collapsed in the bathroom of Tiger Woods home at around 2.35 am.
