What donated services are included?
Generally, a basic IVF cycle is donated by a facility. This includes the treatment and physician services and monitoring at the designated clinic. The following is generally covered: • Ovarian monitoring consisting of serial ultrasounds and • E2 /Lab assays beginning with the start of suppression therapy; • Egg retrieval; • Transfer of Embryos; • Fertility Medication for stimulation of the ovaries to produce eggs (in most cases) . However this can change as medications for ovarian stimulation are dependent on donations from the originating manufacturer of the product. Medications are donated directly from the pharmaceutical company. Therefore the program and/or committee may designate different levels of service for different circumstances dependant on the donations available at the time applications are chosen and individual needs of applicants.
