What doesn go into the Announcements newsletter?
In order to meet our “non-commercial” purpose, some postings that were previously accepted for the Announcements newsletter are no longer accepted as of Fall 2007, including: • Announcements that promote products, services or businesses, except for parenting classes & groups and kids’ classes & groups • Classes, groups & workshops for adults that are not specifically targeted to parents Examples of postings that are not accepted: photographers, clothing businesses, baby stores, therapists, life coaches, household helpers, musicians, kids’ entertainers Reminder: BPN subscribers may recommend any of these businesses in the Recommendations newsletter in response to a query. However, they cannot be “advertised” in the BPN newsletters.
