What does working in front line social care involve?
It’s about making a positive difference to people’s lives by contributing to their health and well-being. Social care is about providing people with support to develop and maintain their independence and dignity. (Social care provides a whole range of services to help provide this support which may be physical support, as with support at home for someone discharged from hospital or it could be helping to run a support group or providing supervision to people in vulnerable situations to ensure their safety).
