What does WHQL mean?
• Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) certifies that drivers work as intended, and do not contain a virus. • When a driver receives this certification, it can be installed without any warnings about certification. • Without this certification the driver will always give a warning that it has not been certified. • How the Autodesk Inventor® team test and certifies drivers: • All drivers on the Autodesk Inventor® web site have been received directly from the graphics card vendor or a PC vendor. • When the driver passes our tests with Autodesk Inventor®, it is certified by the Autodesk Inventor® team. This certification is not to be confused with the WHQL certification by Microsoft. • Due to the need to get the best driver to our users as soon as possible, the Autodesk Inventor® team tests drivers during the development phase.
