What does wd-40 mean?
WD-40 stands for Water Displacement 40th attempt. It was developed in 1953 by Norm Larsen. The product made it first public debut in 1958. WD-40 has been used for a few strange things, a bus driver has used it to remove a snake that had coiled up in the undercarriage of the bus and a police officer used it to move a naked burglar who was trapped in an air conditions vent.
