A quality unflavoured vodka shouldn’t smell or taste like anything, but will have a wheat or potato aftertaste to it. The flavoured ones taste like watermelon, pears, raspberry, etc.

taste great once you add red bull or cranberry juice to it. I have had vodka shots and it okay with a lemon or lime right behind it.

cheap vodka is like drinking methylated spirits. go for a good brand, always keep it in the freezer and serve over ice or mixed and you wont really get much of a flavour just the warmth.
