Viral achievements basically means a trickle down effect. So if someone out there (Person A) beats a developer , then anyone (Person B) who beats Person A will get the achievement. Anyone who beats Person A or Person B gets the achievement, and so on. In a nutshell, you dont have to beat a developer, just beat someone who did (or someone who beat someone who did)…you get the point. As far as viral videos, they are any video clip that gets a HUGE amount of populairty because of it being shared via email among friends or being mentioned in blogs or shaing between friends via AIM, etc.
