Gold Vermeille is usually 22-24K gold plated (so it’s not permanent) over Sterling Silver. Gold vermeille tends to be popular because it has the appearance of gold and is thus easier to maniuplate than gold filled. I personally like it because it has that yellow sheen and I can get it without spending too much on it.
