What does unthriftiness mean in horses illness?
From an online medical dictionary: http://medical-dictionary.thefreediction… “unthriftiness: failure to grow or to put on weight as well as expected in the presence of adequate quantity and quality of feed, and in the absence of overt clinical signs of illness. Called also illthrift.” My definition, from personal experience, is simply a failure to thrive. Hope this helps.
