What does U06, U08, U10, etc stand for?
Answer Given: It is used for defining divisions within the club. U06 indicates – less than 6 years of age, or players that are 4 and 5 years old. U08 is under 8 years of age, but greater than U06. So U08 is 6 and 7 years old players and so forth for all the divisions. The Iowa Soccer Association mandates that a player’s age be determined by their age as of July 31st.
