What does Trek Climb Ski consider responsible travel?
In poorer countries such as Nepal, we take our responsibilities as a tour operator very seriously. We pay substantial garbage deposits for all our Nepal based activities and ensure we return all our hard waste in accordance with the requirements of the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC). We strictly adhere to minimal impact camping guidelines and we are always careful to ensure we leave ‘no trace’ of our visit behind. We take great pride in looking after our staff and all our Nepalese workers are properly insured prior to each expedition. Trek Climb Ski always pays above average wages to our Nepalese guides and porters and we ensure all our staff are properly equipped (clothing & equipment wise) on every expedition they undertake.
