What does ransfer mean?
The term “transfer” has several meanings. It may be used in reference to a single course, or used in reference to a block of multiple courses, or for a completed program of study. Generally, transfer refers to the ability to complete course work at one institution that will be accepted as equivalent work at another institution. We realise that not all of our passengers wish to end up at the same destination; many of our tours have an optional transfer to a different location. (For instance, the 12 day Gibb River/Plateau and Bungles Adventure can be booked as a Broome to Broome tour, or a Broome to Darwin tour, where the last day is spent transferring to Darwin). Where this is included, we will book and pay for the transfer, and your guide will get you to the departure point. Drinks and meals are not included on these sections. We aim to transfer our clients by a flight with either AirNorth, Qantas or Skywest, (subject to availability; otherwise the transfer will be made in a coach – rebates will apply – along the Victoria Highway, travelling through the service town of Katherine. Please be aware that the coach transfer between Kununurra and Darwin (vis-vers) is over 10 hours in a bus.
In general, “transfer” indicated moving from one educational institution to another. However, this web site uses the term “transfer” to describe advancement from a community college to a four-year college or university. It means that you begin working on your bachelors degree at the community college and finish it at a four-year college or university.
