What does traditional or non-traditional Greek grooms where in a wedding?

Answer Honestly, it depends on where the wedding is, the formality of the wedding, the customs of the family, the religion of the ceremony (or not) and the preference of the family. Most Greek grooms wear tuxedos, with the color and style dependent on the formality of the occasion. I’ve attended a lovely Greek Orthodox wedding where the groom wore an Armani tuxedo with tails and an ascot. While a white shirt and chinos may be appropriate for a Greek groom to wear in an outdoor or informal ceremony, it would be inappropriate for a formal church wedding. Since the Greek culture is a very old and prestigious one, it’s hard to understand by ‘traditional’. Over the last 2 decades, however, the tuxedo has been the Greek man’s attire of choice for weddings. This may have to do with the fact that most weddings took place in a formal church setting. As always, however, it is best to consult with the bride to see what attire is preferred. =) Please let me know if I can elaborate further or help
