It was originally assumed that the Cloudy Wolf ring was an item of jewelry worn by Cloud in the movie sequel. However, information later released stated that it is Tifa who actually wears Cloud’s ring and, if you look closely enough during Advent Children, you can see it on the ring finger of her right hand. Advent Children is a sequel to FF7 that originally started as nothing but a 20-minute special movie. It was written by Kazushige Nojima and starred only Cloud, Tifa and a few kids. After choosing the theme of ‘survival’ and ‘family’, a longer story was fleshed out. Cloud and Tifa were naturally the main characters of the movie.
