What does Thelen look for in a summer associate?
Our firm fills its summer associate classes with students who are self-starters and have demonstrated high academic achievement, shown excellence in related areas such as law review and moot court, have developed a record of achievement and leadership in other types of extracurricular activities, and have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Generally, we fill our summer classes with 2L students.
