What does the “Young” in YEC actually mean?
We define “Young” in the context of someone who is in the growth stage of their career rather than the narrow confines of chronological age. In this era of rapid change professionals may reinvent themselves and start new ventures many times during their careers. We define chronological age broadly as between 27 and 45 with exceptions at either end. There is no mandatory retirement age. We look for members with at least five years of business experience.
