What does the weird “(1d ago)” message next to a travelers name mean?
When you login, we attempt to retrieve your geographic location based on your IP address. The “1d ago” next to a travelers name in your TravelHood indicates the last time they’ve logged in. This can be important to determine whether the traveler is still near you. For example, if a traveler logged in 5 minutes previously, it would say “(5m ago)” and the odds that the traveler is still sitting right next to you in the cyber cafre pretty good, if the time says “(6d ago)” though, the odds are higher that the traveler may have moved on to another city already. We do not list any travelers who haven’t used TravelPod in the last 7 days. Table of Contents Hey I don’t want other travelers to know if I am near them! No worries, just disable the TravelHood by clicking the “disable” button located on your TravelHood. No one will be able to find you. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to locate any other travelers who are near you either though.
