Answer The SPI in the HT83F02 is pin-shared with Port B. The general operating voltage range of standard SPI Flash Memory is 2.7V~3.6V. If the system voltage is 5.0V, an external LDO (ex. the HT7133-1/HT7533-1) can be used with its 3.3V output connected to the VDD_PBIO pin so as to permit the SPI output levels to interface to the external SPI Flash Memory.
