What does the “uses internal API – see FAQs” mean?
SmsToMailbox includes some features which cannot be realized using the standard Android™ programming interface. For the more advanced features SmsToMailbox needs to use internal undocumented functions of the Android™ framework. These Android™ functions may not be available on some devices and may change in future Android™ versions or may be completely removed, therewith the SmsToMailbox features relying on these functions would not continue to work either. SmsToMailbox displays in its configuration which of its features are actually using undocumented internal Android™ functions.
