What does the training workshop entail?
We offer a brief presentation to your Board, staff, or programming committee about making the decision to apply age ratings to the films you will be showing. Training workshops are tailored to suit the needs of the organization. If the decision to rate your own films has been made, we offer a training session about how to use the Alberta Film Classification Guidelines effectively and describe the process for rating films. The training workshop may also include practicing the application of age ratings as a group using clips from films you are showing, as well as information on enforcing the ratings for venue managers or box office volunteers. Workshops can be hosted in the Alberta Film Classification office using our full sized cinema screening room, or at a location of your choice.
