What does the title Renaissance Man(the movie) mean?
That was one of the best movies I have seen. I just loved it and have watched it over and over. Danny Divito plays a man who has lost his job and has to find another. He takes a job teaching high school dropouts English at a boot camp. Although he hates the job and feels it is way beneath him in the beginning, he comes to realize that he loves the job and the students he is teaching. He learns to respect them and they respect him. He tries in every way he can to help them achieve their goals. So I guess that the meaning of the Renaissance Man is the whole change he makes in himself by teaching the students. He also sees where he is making mistakes with his daughter and tries to correct that too.
