The name Emmanuel is one of the names that confuses many people and caused disagreement among different religions. This name is the name that was given to Jesus from heaven, and it was also mentioned in the Old Testament and not only when Jesus was born in the New Testament. In the book of Matthew chapter 1 and verse 21 he says, “She will bear forth a son” (about the Virgin Mary) and his name shall be called Emmanuel which means God is with us.
