What does the term “transparency” mean when used in reference to the IB Program?
“Transparency” refers to IB’s requirement that students be informed from the first day of class of the program’s aims, objectives, content, and assessment criteria. This will enable them to understand the requirements of the course, to evaluate their own progress, and to take their share of responsibility in the learning process.
